Trevor Donald Brewer

Trevor Donald Brewer (born February 10, 1989 in Mentor , Ohio ) is an American soldier .

Career

Brewer attended from 2002 to 2006 in Ohio , the Mentor High School and moved to his high school Accounts with his parents to Gray , Tennessee . He is a staff sergeant in the US Air Force . In the assassination attempt on US armed forces at Frankfurt Airport , in which two US soldiers were shot and two others seriously injured on March 2, 2011, Brewer was sitting in the stormed bus. He was also the target of the assassin, but survived because his weapon blocked. Together with airport employee Lamar Joseph Conner, he pursued the fleeing assassin Arid Uka until he was arrested.

Honors

“For his unparalleled courage and exemplary behavior, with which he made a significant contribution to the arrest of the assassin by the federal police”, Brewer was awarded the Federal Republic of Germany's Cross of Merit on Ribbon in January 2012 .
