Trevor Meier (born July 7, 1973 in Oakville , Ontario ) is a former Swiss - Canadian ice hockey player . He was best known as a player for SC Bern and HC Lugano , with whom he won the Swiss championship title in 1997, 2010 and 1999 . In the course of his career, Meier also played for SC Herisau , Lausanne HC , SCL Tigers , EV Zug and HC Ambrì-Piotta .

He completed two international matches for the Swiss national ice hockey team . Meier also played several international matches in the dress of the Canadian national team .
