The Treze Futebol Clube , usually just called Treze , is a football club from Campina Grande in the Brazilian state of Paraíba, founded in 1925 . His greatest sporting triumph is his multiple participation in the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol (the first Brazilian soccer league).
history
The Treze Futebol Clube was founded on September 7, 1925 by Antônio Fernandes Bioca and 12 other football friends . It was the first football club in Paraíba state. The first logo was a 13 to remember the 13 founders.
The first game of the newly formed club took place on November 6, 1925 against a local rival and was won 1-0. In 1976, 1977, 1979, 1982 and 1983 Treze played in the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol.
successes
At the national level, the greatest successes were promotions to the first division and winning the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B (in Group E) in 1986.
At the state level, Treze won the Paraíba State Championship 17 times (in 1940, 1941, 1950, 1966, 1975, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1989, 2000, 2001, 2005, 2006 and 2020) and the Torneio Início ( in 1965, 1974, 1976, 1982 and 1985). At the local level, the biggest success was winning the city championship 21 times.
