Triangular Series in Bangladesh in the 2009/10 season
The Triangular Series in Bangladesh in the 2009/10 season was a three-nation tournament that was held from January 4th to 13th, 2009 in Bangladesh in one-day cricket . In addition to the host, teams from India and Sri Lanka took part in the tournament, which was part of the 2009/10 international cricket season . In the final, Sri Lanka was able to prevail against Bangladesh with four wickets.

India and Sri Lanka previously contested a tour in India against each other , Bangladesh a tour against Zimbabwe .
format
In a preliminary round, each team played against each other once. There were four points for a win, two points for a draw or no result. Bonus points were also awarded. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
