The Tribby Peak is a mountain in the north of Thurston Island before Eights Coast of the West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . It rises 2.5 km west of Mount Bubier on the Edwards Peninsula .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after Osborne Mead Tribby (1913-1967), Hospital Corpsman and involved in the rescue of six survivors of the Martin PBM Mariner who crashed on December 30, 1946 on the Noville Peninsula as part of the United States Navy conducted Operation Highjump (1946–1947).
