Triefing is a district of the municipality of Scheyern in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . Until 1971 it was the seat of the municipality of the same name .

The village of Triefing is 3 kilometers south of the core town of Scheyern.
history
The municipality of Triefing, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian municipal edict, covered an area of 5.56 km² with the places Edersberg, Grub, Habertshausen, Kemmoden and Ziegelöbach. It was dissolved on April 1, 1971 and about half each was allocated to the community of Scheyern and the community of Jetzendorf (Habertshausen, Kemmoden).
