history

The municipality of Vieth, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian municipal edict, comprised an area of ​​5.09 km² with the towns of Eichberg, Grainstetten and Schmidhausen. It was incorporated into the municipality of Scheyern on April 1, 1973 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
