Trigon is a German jam rock or progressive rock band from Karlsruhe that makes exclusively instrumental music.
Band history
Trigon was founded in 1989 in Karlsruhe by the brothers Rainer and Stefan Lange, after the previous band kept running out of singers. The first CD Nova was recorded in 1990 with Ralf Wochele on drums (later at Fool's Garden ) . Wochele was followed by Thomas Zimmer (“Purple Haze”, “Paule Popstar and the Burning Elephants”), then Kirk Erickson (“Sneak Preview”), later Daniel Beckmann (“Reflecting Hate”, “Ishni”, “Downgrade”, "Out of Kilter"). In 2000 the second studio CD, limited liability, was recorded, with three percussionists. The band toured the Netherlands and played at major festivals for the first time. Since then, the position on drums has been filled several times. The current, long-time drummer is Tihomir Lozanovski.
The band is a frequent guest at various festivals, nationally for example nationally at the renowned Art Rock Festival, the ProgParade, several times at the Burg-Herzberg-Festival and the Zappanale . Internationally she was at the Baja Prog Festival in Mexicali ( Baja California , México ) and at the Festival Crescendo near Bordeaux in France . In 2005 she accompanied Nektar on her European tour.
