Drum Belly is a Dutch children's feature film based on the book by Cornelis Johannes Kieviet from 2010. The screenplay was written by Luuk van Bemmerien and directed by Arne Toonen .

Dik lives in Dicksleben / Pummelhausen. As the name suggests, everyone is fat there. So did Dik and his parents. Then the family moves to Dünnhausen to run a restaurant there. Everyone there has become obsessed with being slim and his father has to offer tofu and rhubarb shakes on the menu. Since Mother Trom can't get anything in her size, she sews her clothes herself and wants to lose weight. Dik is teased at school. He falls in love with a girl from school and tries to impress her with candy.
