Tromsdalen
Tromsdalen is one of the districts of Tromsø , Norway . Tromsdalen is on mainland Norway. The city center of Tromsø is directly opposite on the island of Tromsøya . Tromsdalen is connected to the city center by the 1016 meter long Tromsø Bridge . The district borders on Kroken in the north and Berg in the south. Tromsdalen is a valley area that stretches from the 1238 meter high Tromsdalstinden down to the sound .
Tromsø's landmark , the Arctic Cathedral , is located in Tromsdalen. Another popular attraction located there is the " Fjellheisen " cable car . The Alfred Hansen monument is located near the Arctic Cathedral .
