Tropea ( Greek Τρόπαια ( n. Pl. )) Is a village in Arcadia in the Peloponnese in Greece with 525 inhabitants. From 1997 to 2010 it formed the municipality of Tropea with some surrounding villages, which was merged into the newly created municipality of Gortynia on January 1, 2011 , where it has since formed a municipality.
The Alfios flows through the community .
