True Justice is an American action series starring Steven Seagal as Elijah Kane. The series is about undercover police officers who work in Seattle , Washington.

The series is about an undercover team of police officers (Elijah Kane, Juliet Saunders, Radner, Andre Mason and Sarah Montgomery) who stop criminals, solve tricky murders or fight against gangs, killers and mafiosi.

- Elijah Kane
Elijah Kane ( Steven Seagal ) is the leader of the team, he is an ex-special agent and has received special training. For injured members of the team, he becomes a father figure and accompanies them through the hospital. But he can also be very strict, and if a team member makes a mistake, he'll cut the case off.
- Juliet Saunders
Juliet Saunders ( Meghan Ory ) is a seasoned detective who can be very rough and tough on her opponents. She is under Kane's orders and had nightmares as a child. She is seriously injured by Steffan in episode 8 “Payback - Today is Payday”. The episode ends when the seriously injured Steffan throws two hand grenades into the weapons room, where Juliet's team has gathered, with "To be Continued".
- Radner
Radner (Warren Christie) is a detective and is mostly used by Kane as an undercover agent in gangs, sects, etc. He often messes with little gangsters. He likes to joke about Juliet, Sarah, and Mason's wife, which team members resent most of the time.
- Andre Mason
Andre Mason (William "Big Sleeps" Stewart) is a detective and usually takes on a job assigned to him by Kane together with Radner (if he is not in an undercover assignment). His wife is pregnant, which he confesses to Kane in episode 3 "Street Wars". He is an African American and takes his job very seriously.
- Sahra Montgomery
Sahra Montgomery (Sarah Lind) is promoted from a normal cop to an undercover cop in the first episode. She is a bit shaky at the beginning, she makes several mistakes that endanger the team. She later develops into a very good police officer.

Approval by the voluntary self-regulation of the film industry
The first season of True Justice was approved by the Voluntary Self-Control of the Film Industry (FSK) from the age of 18, because the episode Payback was only approved from the age of 18. An alternative release of the first season on DVD appeared without the last episode and was released from the age of 16. The second season was also only released from the age of 18.
