The Stablack military training area was a military training area of the German Wehrmacht in the Preussisch Eylau district in East Prussia . The northern part of the training area is still used by the Russian army today, the southern part is in Poland and is no longer used for military purposes.

The Stablack military training area was set up in the summer of 1934. The training area, which covers an area of ​​around 10,000 hectares, was created in the eastern area of Stablack , ten kilometers west of Preussisch Eylau (now in Russian: Bagrationowsk). From 1936 it was the second military training area set up in East Prussia , next to the Arys military training area (now in Polish: Orzysz ) .
