Trust is an American television series broadcast by FX Network .
Similar to Ridley Scott's film Alles Geld der Welt , which was made around the same time, the series revolves around the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III , who is played here by Harris Dickinson . Donald Sutherland stars as J. Paul Getty , Hilary Swank as Gail Getty, Brendan Fraser as James Fletcher Chace and Michael Esper as John Paul Getty II .
The German-language premiere of the series was originally supposed to have in May 2018 on Sky Atlantic HD , but this was postponed indefinitely. Licensing difficulties were later reported. A German-language dubbed version had already been created by Berlin-based Interopa Film .
