The South African manufacturer Truvelo Manufacturers (Pty) Ltd. produced Truvelo SR , short for sniper rifle is a weapon family of sniper rifles and anti-materiel rifles .

The SR is produced in six different calibers. The bandwidth ranges from 7.62 × 51 mm NATO to the 20 × 110 mm caliber , which was once used in light anti-aircraft guns . Externally, the rifles differ in the dimensions and shape of the recoil absorbers. The Truvelo lettering under the breech is typical of all rifles in the SR series. The bolt carrier itself consists of a single milled block of 817M40 steel , while the piston is made of an aluminum alloy and is also available as a folding stock. The piston is fully adjustable and has a ground spur . The freestanding pistol grip is made of polymer and is hollow. In the 20 × 110 mm caliber, the weapon is a single loader. All other types are multi-loaders with a sheet steel magazine.
