The Tschuchnowsky Nunatak ( Russian Гора Чухновского Gora Tschuchnowskowo ) is a nunatak in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 28 km south of Mount Maslen .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1957 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions and in 1962 during a Soviet Antarctic expedition . Scientists on the latter research trip named him after the Soviet Arctic pilot Boris Tschuchnowsky (1898–1975).
