The Tsirku Glacier drained into the Alsek Ranges at an altitude of 1200 m situated ice rink in an easterly direction. It flows along the northern flank of the Takhinsha Mountains in an east-southeast direction. The mean 1.5 km wide glacier crosses the border to Alaska and ends after another 3.5 km at an altitude of 500 m . The Tsirku Glacier is therefore largely within the Tatshenshini-Alsek Provincial Park in British Columbia. The glacier tongue forms the origin of the Tsirku River .
