Dąbrówka Drygalska ( German  Dombrowken , 1938-1945 Altweiden ) is a small place in the Polish Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , which belongs to the Gmina Biała Piska ( town and country municipality Bialla , 1938-1945 Gehlenburg ) in the powiat Piski ( Johannisburg district ).

Geographical location

Dąbrówka Drygalska is located in the southeast of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, east of the Olsztyn – Ełk railway line , 20 kilometers northeast of the district town of Pisz ( German  Johannisburg ).

history

Until 1945 Dombrowken was parish in the Protestant Church of Drygallen in the church province of East Prussia of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Roman Catholic Church of Johannisburg in the Diocese of Warmia .

Today, on the Catholic side, Dąbrówka Drygalska belongs to the Drygały parish in the Ełk diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland , while the Protestant residents belong to the parish in Biała Piska, a branch of the Pisz parish in the Masurian diocese of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .
