The TuS 1882 Asbach eV is a German sports club based in the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality Asbach within the same municipality in the district of Neuwied .

Soccer

post war period

The first football team rose to the 1951/52 season in the third-class Rhineland regional league. With 32:28 points, they placed eighth at the end of the season. Thus, the club did not qualify for the amateur league Rhineland, which was introduced for the next season, and therefore had to compete in the fourth-class 2nd amateur league for the next season.

Current time

In the 2002/03 season the club played in the Rhineland regional league and placed eighth here with 53 points, but after a division reform the team had to relegate to the Westerwald / Wied regional league. Here then succeeded after the season 2004/05 with 65 points the championship and thus the return to the district league. After the 2009/10 season you had to relegate to the district league A again with 35 points. The club still plays in this league today.

badminton

The first men's team in badminton currently plays in the District League East.

volleyball

The first women's volleyball team is currently playing in the Nordverband League in the volleyball association of Rhineland-Palatinate within the DVV .
