The TuS Sulingen (full name: Turn- und Sportverein Sulingen 1880 eV ) is a sports club from Sulingen in the Lower Saxony district of Diepholz . The first soccer team of TuS Sulingen played in the Oberliga Niedersachsen in the 2017/18 season .
Soccer
In 2013, the first soccer team of TuS Sulingen rose from the Hanover regional league to the Hanover regional league. In 2017 he was promoted to the fifth-class Oberliga Lower Saxony as a champion of the Hanover regional league . In addition, the club has already qualified for the Lower Saxony Cup of the NFV . In the Lower Saxony Cup 2013/14 he was able to qualify for the round of 16 and was eliminated against TB Uphusen . In the Lower Saxony Cup 2016/17 he suffered the same fate after beating Lupo Martini Wolfsburg in the qualifying round, also in the round of 16 against TSV Havelse . The club will also take part in the 2017/18 Lower Saxony Cup. After only one year in the league, the Sulinger rose from third from bottom back in the national league.
Handball
The Handball Division is one of 16 teams entered the largest in Lower Saxony. The club established a beach handball field by summer 2017 . The first handball team rose in 2017 as runner-up in the sixth-class Landesliga Bremen in the fifth-class North Sea Association League.
