The former rural community Tudulinna ( Tudulinna vald ) was located in the southwestern part of the Estonian district of Ida-Viru in northeast Estonia . In the course of the municipal reform in 2017, it was merged with four other rural communities to form the rural community of Alutaguse .

The rural community of Tudulinna had 605 inhabitants (2010). It was thus the rural community in the Ida-Viru district with the lowest population.

The area of ​​the rural community was 269.38 km².

68% of the municipal area was covered by forest, 20% by moors or streams. In the south, the rural community bordered the largest lake in Estonia, Lake Peipus ( Peipsi järv ).

Localities

In addition to the main town of Tudulinna , the rural community consisted of the villages of Kellassaare , Lemmaku , Oonurme , Peressaare , Pikati , Rannapungerja , Roostoja , Sahargu and Tagajõe .
