Tullius Menophilus
Tullius Menophilus was a Roman senator of the 3rd century AD. In 238 he held the consulate and was a member of the body of the Vigintiviri .
Nothing is known about Menophilus cursus honorum until 238. At the beginning of 238 he was a suffect consul and was later elected to the body of the Vigintiviri, an important Senate commission that advised the emperors Gordian I and Gordian II and organized the defense of Italy against Maximinus Thrax . Then he took over the administration of the Roman province of Moesia inferior and fought off 239 invading peoples from the Barbaricum .
