The Tungufljót is a headwaters in the south of Iceland .
The river has its source near the Sandvatn and is bridged three times. The Biskupstungnabraut crosses the northernmost bridge
, the second is north of the Faxi waterfall and the third is near the town of Reykholt . A little further on the Tungufljót flows into the Hvítá .
