The biscuit bride is a main street in the south of Iceland . It connects the ring road with the southern end of the Kjalvegur .

The road is number 35 and is 69 km completely paved. It begins west of the town of Selfoss below the Ingólfsfjall mountain and runs in a north-easterly direction. Along the way are the bridge over the river Sog , the crater Kerið , the river Brúará , the place Reykholt , the thermal area in Haukadalur with the geyser and finally the Gullfoss . Nearby there, the biscuit bride turns into the Kjölur highland road . Alongside this road, especially in the southern part, there are large areas of summer houses.

At Svínavatn the Laugarvatnsvegur branches off to the north. She meets this street again later. There are also webcams there to monitor the road conditions.
