The Turbacz Hut ( pl. Schronisko PTTK na Turbaczu ) is located at an altitude of 1283 m above sea level. NN in Poland in the Beskids on the Turbacz mountain . With 129 beds, the hut is the largest refuge in the Gorce.
history
The first hut was built in 1925. However, it was burned down by poachers in 1933. Reconstruction began as early as 1934. It was used by partisans during World War II and burned down in 1943. In 1953 it was decided to rebuild the hut. It was named after Władysław Orkan .
