The Limete Tower is a 210 meter high, unfinished television tower in the Limete district of Kinshasa . The construction of the Limete Tower began in 1971, but was then stopped due to lack of funds. The tower is still used as a transmitter for radio stations.
The tower of Limete consists of four vertical concrete columns which are connected to each other in four places and at their end support the tower cage . The tower cage is made up of three storeys on top of each other, which in their basic shape resemble a Velcro sheet and have a gold-colored facade.
