Tournament Street 2
Tournament Street 2 refers to a former town house with a listed Renaissance portal in the Tournament Street in Braunschweig . The building was built as a residential building, converted into a coffee roastery in 1906 and is now used as an office building.
description
The building with nine window axes is simple and unadorned today. The facade is not symmetrical, the portal and a dwelling emphasize the third axis from the left. The window frames are not drilled.
The portal is dated to the first half of the 17th century. It is divided into a pilaster position, entablature and obelis tops. It was also provided with two seating niches. The coat of arms and the two-dimensional ornamental decoration date from the end of the 19th century.
