The Tuross River is a river in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales .

geography

The river rises about ten kilometers northeast of Kybeyan on the western edge of the Wadbilliga National Park on the eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range . First it flows north and tumbles over Tuross Falls in Badja State Forest . Then it turns its course to the east and flows into the Tasman Sea at Tuross Head .
