Tuula Rautanen

Tuula Rautanen ( Tuula Irmeli Rautanen; born April 8, 1942 in Lahti ) is a former Finnish sprinter and long jumper .

At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1971, she failed in the long jump in qualification.

In 1972 she retired from the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Grenoble over 50 m in the run-up. At the Olympic Games in Munich, she was seventh in the 4-by-400-meter relay and retired over 100 m and in the 4-by-100-meter relay in the preliminary run.

At the European Indoor Championships in 1973 in Rotterdam, she reached the semi-finals over 60 m . In 1974 she was tenth in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg and was eliminated in the preliminary round at the European Championships in Rome . At the European Indoor Championships in 1975 in Katowice, she was tenth in the long jump and was eliminated over 60 m in the semifinals.

She was Finnish long jump champion four times (1972, 1973, 1975, 1976), twice over 100 m (1971, 1972) and once over 200 m (1973). In 1973 she was Swedish indoor champion over 60 m .
