Twardocice (German Harpersdorf ) is a village in the rural municipality Pielgrzymka in the powiat Złotoryjski of the Polish Voivodeship of Lower Silesia .
history
Twardocice was first mentioned in documents in 1206. From the 16th to the early 18th century, the radical Reformation Schwenkfeldians lived in Harpersdorf and the surrounding villages. In 1826, the farmer Melchior Dorn, the last Silesian who openly confessed to the Schwenkfeldians, died in Harpersdorf.
After the Second World War , the German population was expelled from the place.
In 2011 the village had 676 inhabitants.
