Twin Towers is an American documentary released in 2003 .

The film depicts the brothers Joseph and John Vigiano Jr. who both perished in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Joseph was a policeman, John a firefighter.
You can see recordings that were made weeks before the attacks. Joseph's family is introduced and so is Joseph's joy in his job. On September 11th, both brothers were called to the World Trade Center. Father john sr. received another call from Joseph. Officials have confirmed that John and Joseph were killed when the towers collapsed while trying to get people to safety.
Awards
In 2003 the film was awarded an Oscar in the category Best Documentary Short Film .
He also won the Audience Award and the Jury Award at the Aspen Shortsfest .
