Gameplay

General

Twisted Metal: Small Brawl , like its predecessor, combines elements of racing games with those of third-person shooters . The player controls a vehicle in a cordoned-off area, which is armed by default with machine guns with infinite ammunition. On the fighting area, he competes against up to eight also armed vehicles and tries to destroy them.

Race course

At the beginning of a race, the participating vehicles are placed at random starting positions on the map at a certain minimum distance from one another. Then the start takes place and the vehicles taking part in the race are allowed to drive through the area freely and hunt their opponents.

Since the machine guns do little damage to enemy vehicles, drivers have to rely on finding more powerful weapons against the enemy. These are distributed in different places along the route and can be picked up by any driver. Additional weapons include a. Grenades, napalm and missiles. It is the same with repair kits that help remove these damage. Each vehicle also has an individual weapon, the stock of which regenerates automatically over time.
