Leonie Müller (born February 2, 1982 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Leonie Müller began playing volleyball in 1991 in her hometown at FT 1844 Freiburg and was later appointed to the junior national team. With the USC Freiburg she played in the Regionalliga Süd and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga South in 2002 . In 2005 the outside and diagonal attacker went to France for one season, where she played in the 2nd division. After returning to USC Freiburg in 2007, she was promoted to the second division again.

Career Beach

In 1999 Leonie Müller played her first beach tournament. With Melanie Fleig she reached fifth place at the U20 European Championship in Nuremberg in 2000 . Until 2011 she played with various partners on the Smart Beach Tour and other national tournaments. With Frederike Fischer she became German University Champion in Freiburg in 2007 . Müller took part in the German championships in Timmendorfer Strand five times and finished 13th with Tatjana Zautys in 2006 and seventh in 2007, 13th in 2008 with Michaela Eckl and 13th in both 2009 and 2010 with Ruth Flemig . In 2011, Müller left European champion Okka at the side rough finish their careers Beach.

Private

Leonie Müller is now a teacher in Freiburg.
