Michaela Eckl (today Michaela Henry ) (born April 25, 1980 in Munich ) is a German beach volleyball and volleyball player .

Career

Michaela Eckl began playing volleyball when she was eight years old at DJK Taufkirchen (today SV-DJK Taufkirchen). After the first South Bavarian runner-up in 1991, she participated in the national game festival for female E-youth in 1992 and participated in the German youth championships in the C, B and A youth areas with an eighth place as the best placement. In addition, Eckl twice reached the national finals " Youth trained for the Olympics " with the Unterhaching grammar school . Michaela Eckl achieved her first notable beach placement in the youth with third place at the German A-Youth Championships in 1998. After a few years in the adult teams in Taufkirchen, Eckl played for the first time in the 2000/01 season at TSV Sonthofen , for which she was in the Regionalliga served.
