Frederike Fischer (born April 21, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German beach volleyball player .

Career

Fischer began indoor volleyball in 1994, where she later played for TSV Spandau 1860 and MTV Stuttgart 2 in the regional league and in the 2nd Bundesliga . She had her first beach tournament in 2001 and played with Sandra Piasecki on a national and international level until 2006 . Fischer / Piasecki became U18 European champions in Illitschiwsk (Ukraine) in 2002 , won bronze at the 2003 U18 World Championships in Pattaya (Thailand) and the 2004 U20 European Championships in Koper (Slovenia) and finished fifth in the 2005 U20 European Championships in Jerusalem (Israel). In 2007 she became German University Champion in Freiburg im Breisgau with Leonie Müller and U23 European Champion with Jana Köhler in Paralimni (Cyprus). At the side of Julia Großner she finished fifth at the U23 European Championships in Espinho (Portugal) in 2008 and 17th at the European Championships in Berlin in 2010 . Fischer took part in seven German championships in Timmendorfer Strand (twice with Sandra Piasecki, once each with Katrin Holtwick and Jennifer Eckardt and three times with Julia Großner), achieving her best result (fifth place) in 2004 with Piasecki. In the spring of 2011, Fischer announced her retirement from active beach volleyball. Since the 2013/14 season she has been playing in the hall in the acceptance / outside position for VSV Havel Oranienburg .

Frederike Fischer is the sister of the volleyball national player Felix Fischer .
