Tydfil ( Welsh : Tudful; † around 480 ) was the daughter of the Welsh chief Brychan Brycheiniog, king of Brycheiniog . She suffered martyrdom from pagan Anglo-Saxons around 480 because of her Christian faith . The city of Merthyr Tydfil in Wales and Tydfil place in Cardiff are named after her. St. Tudclyd was her sister.
