The Tyenna River is a river in the south of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source on the northern slopes of Mount The Needles on the northern boundary of Southwest National Park . From there it flows east along Gordon River Road (B61) and south of Mount Field National Park . East of Mount Fenton it flows into the Derwent River .
