Tyler Edey (born February 29, 1980 ) is a Canadian pool player .

Career

At the US Open , Tyler Edey came in 13th in 2004. In 2006 he only lost to the Taiwanese Liu Cheng-Chuan in the round of 16 at the 9-Ball World Cup . In 2007 he was eliminated in the preliminary round. He had previously lost to Wu Chia-Ching in the round of 16 at the World Pool Masters . In 2008 Edey reached 19th place in the 9-Ball Derby City Classic . At the Predator International Championship he was fifth, in the sixteenth finals of the 10-Ball World Cup , he lost to the Chinese Liu Haitao . At the US Open in 2008 he was seventeenth. In 2009 he lost in the round of 16 against Dennis Orcollo from the Philippines , at the 10-Ball World Cup he did not get beyond the preliminary round. At the World Pool Masters 2010 he was also eliminated in the preliminary round.

Edey represented Canada three times at the World Cup of Pool . In 2006 and 2008 he reached the second round with Luc Salvas and Edwin Montal, respectively , and in 2009 he was eliminated in the first round together with Jason Klatt .

Edey was also a player in the Canadian team that was eliminated from the 2010 Team World Cup in the third losing round against Denmark.
