The Tyree Head is a headland on the south coast of the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises up to 400  m high at a distance of 5.1 km northeast of Sultan's Head Rock . Apart from a few rocky outcrops on the low-lying east side, it is covered in ice.

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1999 after the American Admiral David Merrill Tyree (1904-1984), commander of the United States Navy support units in Antarctica from 1959 to 1962.
