Tyrone Giordano

Tyrone Giordano (born April 18, 1976 in Hartford, Connecticut ) is a deaf American actor.

Tyrone Giordano began his career in Washington, DC He was a member of a small troupe of deaf and hearing actors. He was offered to participate in a production of The Miracle Worker , which became his first major role.

For a short time he taught in Kendall. In 1999 Giordano received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Gallaudet University . In September 2001, he starred in Big River , a play that was originally played at the Deaf West Theater in Los Angeles. Big River became a huge hit in Los Angeles, so the piece was played again in the Taper Forum .

In May 2003, the play debuted on Broadway, where parts of the original ensemble were there, including Giordano. He stayed most of the time (June 2004 to June 2005) of the year-long US tour and also went to Japan with the production. He only interrupted his engagement to shoot the hit film The Stone Family , in which he plays the deaf, homosexual brother of Dermot Mulroney .

In the film Something Like Love , he also plays the deaf brother, this time from Ashton Kutcher .
