The subway station Zippererstraße is a station on the Vienna subway line U3. It is located in Vienna's 11th district of Simmering and was opened on December 2, 2000 when the last section of the U3 was opened. It is named after the street named in 1904 after Georg Zipperer, a landowner in Simmering from the middle of the 19th century.
The station extends between Hyblerpark and Simmeringer Hauptstraße and has a central platform that is laid out in two separate tubes. Two cross aisles connect the two directional platforms. The southern exit leads to Simmeringer Hauptstrasse, where it is possible to change to tram line 71; the longest escalator in the Vienna underground network is also located here at 53 meters . The northern reception building is located on the edge of the Hyblerpark and, due to the steep slope, has entrances at two different levels at this point. The upper entrance leads to Eisteichstrasse, the lower one directly to Hyblerpark. Both exits are equipped with elevators .
