MME U88x
The U88x series was a single-chip microcomputer series manufactured in the VEB Kombinat Mikroelektronik "Karl Marx" Erfurt ( GDR ). Its structure and instruction set corresponded to the Zilog Z8 . Production started in 1984.

The U881 single-chip microcomputer was 80 times as powerful as the central processing unit of the Robotron 300 (1966) computer , which was still in use at the time of manufacture, which required 6700 hours to manufacture, contained around 30,000 conventional components and weighed 300 kg.
application
A notable example of its use is the BSP-12 computer . The U8830D was used in the Ju-Te computer .
