UNI-Europa
UNI-Europa is a European Federation of services - trade unions with headquarters in Brussels . It was created in 2000 from the merger of four predecessor associations and represents over 7 million members in 272 unions in 50 countries. The 4th UNI-Europa Congress took place in Rome in 2016.
The association is part of the global trade union federation UNI Global Union and a member of the European Trade Union Confederation .
The most important task is to provide services for the member unions and their members through contacts with and lobbying work at the EU Commission and also by raising union concerns and campaigns to members of the European Parliament .
Geographical organizational area
"Europe" is broadly defined when assigning countries to UNI Europa and includes the following areas:

- III: Southern Europe: Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Cyprus,
- IV: Benelux, France, Monaco
- V: Germany, Austria, Switzerland
- VI: Central, Southeastern Europe and the Baltic States: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary,
- VII: Eastern Europe: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus
- VIII: Near and Middle East: Bahrain, Israel, Bahrain, Jordan, Palestine
