European Federation of Agriculture, Food and Tourism Unions

The European Federation of Agriculture, Food and Tourism Unions , engl. European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions (EFFAT) is a European trade union federation based in Brussels . It represents 120 unions in 35 countries with a total membership of more than 2.6 million members. EFFAT is the European regional structure of the International Food Workers Union . EFFAT is a member of the European Trade Union Confederation .

EFFAT was created in 2000 by merging the two European trade union federations EAL-IUF and EFA.

The 4th EFFAT Congress took place on 20./21. November 2014 in Vienna .

President is Therese Guovelin (HRF, Sweden), General Secretary Harald Wiedenhofer.
