The USC Eugendorf is a football club in the municipality Eugendorf in the province of Salzburg in Austria . The team will play in the Salzburg League (4th division) from the 2017/18 season . The club colors of USC Eugendorf are green and white .
history
On September 1, 1967, the USC Eugendorf played its first football game. It was the founding day of the soccer section with the club colors green and white. In the first season 1967/68 USC Eugendorf only played friendly games because it did not have enough players for the championship operation. For the championship season 1968/69 two Eugendorf teams have already been registered with the Salzburg Football Association .
In the summer of 1969, the USC Eugendorf was able to enlarge the football field and build benches for the spectators. One of the greatest successes in the early years was the championship title in 1975/76 and thus promotion to 2nd class north.
After 10 years, promotion to the 1st class North was achieved in the 1985/86 season, and in the following year to the 2nd National League North.
In the 1993/94 season, the championship title of the 2nd National League North could be fixed, and USC Eugendorf then played in the 1st National League (from 2010/11 Salzburg League).
Two bad seasons followed, each time the Salzburg football club had to relegate and play in 1st class north again.
It was not until 2003 that the promotion to the 1st regional league was possible.
The promotion to the third highest division - Regionalliga West - could be celebrated in 2012/13. After relegation was prevented in the first season in the Regionalliga 2013/14 , the club from Eugendorf reached 4th place in the following year 2014/15 . After the 2016/17 season , USC Eugendorf rose again to the fourth-class Salzburg league .
The women's team was founded in 2010 and has since played in the Salzburg women's league. A 3rd men's team (Juniors - reserve for 1B team) has also been taking part in the championship since 2016.

Youth work
With 11 teams, the USC Eugendorf's youth department is one of the largest in the state of Salzburg.
