The Uba Crest ( Russian Убинский хребет ) is a mountain range in Kazakhstan area Eastern Kazakhstan in the western Altai .

The Uba ridge runs between the rivers of Uba in the north and Ulba in the south. It belongs to the so-called Erz-Altai . The Uba ridge has a length of 120 km. In the Sinjucha it reaches a maximum height of 1962  m . The mountains consist of crystalline mica slate , limestone and granite . The lower slopes in the western part of the mountain range are covered by steppe vegetation. Fir and spruce taiga as well as aspen and birch forests occur in the eastern part .
