USSR team championship in chess
The USSR team championship is a chess tournament that was held for the first time in Leningrad in 1948 . The last team championship took place in 1991.
For the RSFSR, teams from Moscow and Leningrad played alongside the team from the regions and the autonomous regions . The 2nd to 4th and 6th to 10th team championships were held as one of the sports in the Spartakiads .
