Ueli Egger (born May 30, 1958 in Grindelwald ; legal resident in Hilterfingen ; real name Ulrich Egger) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Ueli Egger attended the Muristalden teachers' seminar (today: Campus Muristalden ) in Bern from 1973 to 1978 and then worked as a primary school teacher in Frutigen from 1978 to 1983 . From 1983 to 1988 he worked as a snow sports instructor in Grindelwald and at the same time took on various substitutes as a primary school teacher. From 1985 to 1988 Egger completed the secondary teaching post in Bern and since then has been teaching languages ​​and sport in the Hilterfingen school association as a secondary teacher. Egger is married and lives in Hünibach .

politics

Egger was councilor and mayor of Hilterfingen for eight years. In 2017, after the resignation of Patric Bernd, he joined the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern . In 2018 Egger was re-elected. He has been a member of the Business Audit Committee since 2017.

Ueli Egger has been President of the SP Hilterfingen-Hünibach and Co-President of the SP Canton Bern since 2017 . He is a board member of the Cerebral Bern Association and the Friends' Association of Radio BEO.
