Ugo Zovetti

Ugo Zovetti (born September 5, 1879 in Curzola , Dalmatia , † 1974 in Milan ) was an Italian fabric designer and book designer of Dalmatian origin.

Zovetti studied from 1901 to 1908 with Kolo Moser and Rudolf von Larisch at the Vienna School of Applied Arts . In 1911 he became Moser's assistant, but soon concentrated on his own studio. He designed porcelain objects with black and white geometrical décor for the Josef Böck manufactory, fabrics and accessories for the Wiener Werkstätte , and carpets for the Ginzkey company. He mainly worked as a fabric designer and book designer.
