Ugrosaurus is agenus of pelvic dinosaurs (Ornithopoda) from the group of Ceratopsia knownonly from sparse fossil finds .

From Ugrosaurus only parts of the are so far intermediate jaw bone , the nasal bone and other fragments known. These finds suggest that they belong to the Ceratopsidae , but more precise statements are not possible. Ugrosaurus is therefore considered a nomen dubium .

The fossil remains of this dinosaur were discovered in the Hell Creek Formation in the US state of Montana and first described in 1987 . The generic name is derived from the Scandinavian ugro (= "ugly") and alludes to the uneven structure of the bones that belong to an old and possibly sick specimen. The type species and the only known species is U. olsoni .

Ugrosaurus is dated in the Upper Cretaceous (late Maastrichtian ) to an age of 68 to 66 million years. It is therefore the same age as Triceratops , possibly even the same genus.
